Your Pharmacy's Business Identity
Configure your pharmacy's core business information including name, contact details, logo, physical location, timezone, and currency. This information appears on receipts, invoices, and throughout the system.

Business Settings define your pharmacy's identity and foundational information. These details are displayed on all customer-facing documents (receipts and invoices) and help establish your pharmacy's professional presence.

What You Can Configure

  • Business Name
  • Contact Information
  • Business Logo
  • Physical Location
  • Timezone
  • Currency

Configuration Steps

1

Navigate to Business Settings

From your dashboard, click on the Settings icon in the sidebar. The Business Settings page opens by default at /dashboard/settings, or you can access it from the Settings navigation tabs.

2

Enter Business Information

Fill in your pharmacy's business name (required), email address, and phone number. Use your official business name as registered - this will appear on all receipts and invoices. Provide contact details that customers can use to reach you.

3

Upload Your Logo

Click the 'Upload Logo' button or drag and drop an image file (PNG, JPG, or WebP). Recommended: Square images (1:1 aspect ratio) under 2MB for best results. Your logo will appear on receipts, invoices, and the dashboard header. Click 'Remove' if you need to delete the current logo.

4

Select Physical Location

Choose your county from the County dropdown (e.g., Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu). Then select your specific region/subcounty from the Region dropdown - options update based on your county selection. This helps with location-based features and regulatory compliance.

5

Configure Timezone

Select your timezone from the dropdown menu. Default is Africa/Nairobi (EAT - East Africa Time, UTC+3). This ensures accurate timestamps on all transactions, scheduled reports, and staff attendance records.

6

Set Currency

Choose your primary currency from the Currency dropdown. Default is KES (Kenyan Shillings). All prices, reports, and financial calculations will use this currency. Note: PharmaSync currently supports one currency per pharmacy.

7

Save Your Changes

Review all entered information for accuracy, then click the 'Save Changes' or 'Update Business Settings' button at the bottom of the form. Changes take effect immediately and apply to all new receipts, invoices, and system displays.

Logo Best Practices

  • Use Square Format
  • Keep File Size Small
  • High Resolution
  • Simple Design
