Account Settings

Manage Your Personal Account
Account Settings allow you to manage your personal profile information, change your password, and configure your user preferences. These settings are specific to your user account and don't affect other users or system-wide settings.

Account Settings are your personal configuration area where you can update your profile, manage security, and customize your PharmaSync experience. Unlike Admin Settings (which control tenant-wide system configuration), Account Settings only affect your individual user account.

Understanding the Difference
It's important to understand the distinction between Account Settings (personal) and Admin Settings (system-wide) to make changes in the right place.

Quick Access Guide

Access Account Settings

Click on your profile avatar or name in the top-right corner of the dashboard. A dropdown menu appears. Select 'Profile' or 'Account Settings' from the menu. You'll be taken to /dashboard/profile where you can manage all your account settings.

Navigate Account Settings

The Account Settings page has a single-page layout with sections: Profile Information (name, phone, image at the top), Account Information (email, creation date - read-only), Password Management (change password button). All settings are on one page for easy access - no need to navigate between tabs.

Make Your Changes

Update your information in the relevant sections. Changes to profile information (name, phone, image) save individually with a 'Save' or 'Update' button for each section. Password changes open a separate dialog modal for security. All changes are immediate - no system-wide approvals needed.

Privacy & Data Visibility

What Information is Visible to Others

Your profile information visibility depends on your role and your pharmacy's configuration:

What Information is Private

  • Your password is never visible to anyone, including administrators
  • Password reset requires email verification
  • Account creation date is for your reference only
  • Login history and devices are private (administrators can see successful logins for security, but not which devices)
